Bolognese Cheesy Bread

Bolognese Cheesy Bread
Serving Size:  2-3

Ingredients:

11 oz Pappardelle’s Pasta Red Wine Bison Bolognese
1 Italian loaf, sliced in half lengthwise
8 oz. container fresh mozzarella balls (cherry size), drained & sliced
2 tbsp. fresh parsley, roughly chopped for garnish
2 oz. freshly grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small sauce-pot, heat the Bolognese until warm. Reserve over low heat.
  2. Tear out some of soft interior of the bread to form a shallow “boat”. Place ½ of the sliced mozzarella evenly over the two halves. Place in oven and allow the cheese to melt slightly. Remove from the oven.
  3. Spoon the warm sauce over the two halves of bread filled with melted cheese. Top each half evenly with the remaining mozzarella.
  4. Bake the cheesy bread for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted, sauce is heated through, and bread is slightly crisp. Garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
